Our expertise encompasses a wide area of fields including plasmonics, photonics, optics, device physics, nanofilms and processing, sub-micron scale engineering, project management, product development, testing, fabrication, and commercialization. With extensive modeling experience with Comsol, MEEP and Lumerical, our team includes experienced users of PI Energy’s own fabrication facilities as well as outside nano/micro fabrication facilities.

According to a 2017 report by Lawrence Livermore almost 67% of US energy produced is wasted, with most of that rejected energy lost as waste heat. PI Energy is leveraging its core expertise to develop complimentary novel low temperature, low cost thermal-electric materials.
